Amla being the richest source of Vitamin C can be taken in daily diet when prepared by this way. One of the cheapest fruit which is called as the “Poors mans Apple”.Amla is potent fruit for promoting health and longevity.



This is my first post to publish.As a starting note I feel good to give a nutritional tip rich in vitamin C.



Ingredients :

Amla – 10-12 pieces
Crystal or Rock Salt –  2 tsp
Water boiled and cooled – 1 bottle
Glass bottle – 1


Method:


 1. Set ready your amla pieces by washing and draining water out.
 2. Add the amla, salt and water in a bottle and cover the lid.
 3. After 5 days colour of amla changes as shown in picture.
 4. After 8-9 days the amla gets completeley soaked in the water and ready to consume.








Note:
  1. Boil the water and allow it to cool completely.
  2. To this water you can also add a pinch of turmeric powder (optional ) and a green chilli
  3. Use a plastic spoon (steel spoon gets black rusts if kept inside )and enjoy the soaked amla.
  4. People feeling nausea and vomiting during long journey or short travel can carry to enjoy and relax the travel.

  1. Amla contain rich source of vitamin C when compared to oranges.
  2. They helps in boosting up the body immunity.
  3. Amla have proved to be the excellent source of antioxidants, protecting the body from free radicals ( these free radicals released in millions per second damages our body cells leading to cancer)
  4. It strengthens the liver and flush out the toxins (are poisonous substance)
  5. They acts against inflammation.
  6. Since they detoxify the liver and aids digestion,increases the skin glow and complexion.
  7. It gives a good relief from menstrual cramping.
  8. Amla is said to be the low calorie fruit and has a good source of carbohydrate and dietary fibers.
