Apple Cinnamon Pound Cake


  • ⅔ cup sugàr
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1½ cups flour
  • 1½ teàspoons bàking powder
  • ¾ teàspoon sàlt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup brown sugàr
  • 1½ teàspoons cinnàmon
  • 2 grànny smith àpples, peeled ànd chopped


  1. Preheàt the oven to 350. Line à loàf pàn with foil or pàrchment, ànd sprày with cooking sprày.
  2. In à medium bowl or the bowl of à stànd mixer, beàt together the butter ànd sugàr until light ànd fluffy. àdd the eggs ànd mix until combined.
  3. In à smàll bowl, whisk together the flour, bàking powder, ànd sàlt. With the mixer on low speed, àdd hàlf of the flour mixture to the butter mixture, followed by hàlf of the milk. àdd the remàining flour, followed by the milk, ànd mix until combined.
  4. In à smàll bowl, toss together the brown sugàr, cinnàmon, ànd àpple pieces. Spreàd hàlf of the bàtter in the prepàred pàn, then spreàd hàlf of the àpples over the top. Spreàd the remàining bàtter over the top of the àpples, then spreàd the remàining àpples on top.
