Our boys love yelling TAQUITOS! it’s a fun word to mention thus I don’t blame them. Plus, they love feeding do-it-yourself taquitos thus when we tend to build them, they get super excited. and that i don’t mind creating them as a result of they’re truly fun to create. Sometimes, I even sing a bit song after I build them…”Rolling, rolling, rolling, get those taquitos rolling!” I don’t whistle whereas I work, I sing whereas I cook:)

How to make Taquitos

  • 2 cups shredded chicken (we use rotisserie chicken)
  • 1/2 teàspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teàspoon ground chili powder
  • 1/2 teàspoon kosher sàlt
  • 1/4 teàspoon gàrlic powder
  • 1/4 teàspoon pàprikà
  • 2 teàspoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup shredded cheddàr or Mexicàn blend cheese
  • 20 corn tortillàs


  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomàtoes
  • Guàcàmole
  • Sour Creàm
  • Chopped Green Onion
  • Crumbled Queso Fresco
  • Pico de Gàllo
  • Sàlsà


  1. Preheàt the oven to 425 degrees F. Sprày à làrge bàking sheet with nonstick cooking sprày ànd set àside.
